**Your new company**

A global business that provide their high demand product to businesses across the FMCG, food, beverage, retail and commercial industries both globally and locally. With multiple sites across Sydney our client is a leader in the market. With an exciting new opportunity our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Fitter or Electrician to drive Lean principles and production efficiencies on the day shift.

**Your new role**
- You will be responsible for the organisation and maintenance of the day-to-day running of the site, production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property.
- You'll ensure conformance to statutory, and company approved Safe Operating Procedures as well as keeping the equipment performing at its required production rate.
- Maintaining a Preventative Maintenance Program in relation to the production line to ensure there are mínimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns.
- Provide guidance of all maintenance procedures relating to the production lines. A key focus will include maintaining accurate records pertaining to corrective and periodical/planned maintenance procedures.
- Carry out electrical/mechanical maintenance activities in a professional and proactive manor to ensure the plant and equipment are maintained to the highest possible standards.
- Proactive in the continual improvement of the plant processing equipment.

**What you'll need to succeed**

This position is open to a Team Leader that is either electrically trade qualified or mechanically trade qualified. If it is the latter, you will need to have a restricted electrical licence.

It is essential you are living in Sydney currently and have full working rights.
