We are excited to be working on behalf of one of Australia’s leaders in sustainable, fiber-based packaging solutions to find them an exceptional **Production Manager**.

**Job Profile Summary**

To lead and direct the activities of Production (including pre-press, sheeting, printing, die cutting and finishing) teams to align with the site strategy and business direction.

To manage staff, materials and assets to maximise profits through the development and execution of plans to meet safety, quality, delivery, costs and employee engagement objectives whilst fostering a team atmosphere, providing vision and leadership, demonstrating the company's values.

To drive a culture of continuous improvement ensuring it becomes embedded in standard work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leadership of the Production Team
- Develop operational standards for Area Managers to follow.
- Sponsor and drive safety, quality, lean manufacturing and team development activities
- Staff development
- Review and manage resources including labour to budget
- Deliver production results
- Working with Operations Manager on critical capital projects and investments
- Develop working relationships with internal company departments, including but not limited to Sales, Customer Service and Quality.

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Sound leadership and managerial skills indicative of the ability to communicate effectively, instill teamwork, delegate effectively, and build collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of business objectives.
- 5 + years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A proactive management style demonstrating the ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues before they become significant problems.
- An ability to identify new approaches, processes and systems to business operations and challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor direct reports and assist them in their development and improving performance.

**Salary**: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
