Production coordinator required for fabrication business in the south eastern suburbs

**Your new company**
This business is a privately owned manufacturing organisation servicing a specific market niche. Fabricating on site, and focussing on service and repair across a range of blue chip businesses both domestically and overseas, this business is truly unique in its local market segment. Highly project driven and specialising in bespoke solutions, the business has been in operations for over 35 years.

**Your new role**
As Production Coordinator, typical responsibilities will include:

- Managing the existing production flow, based on workload, deadlines and materials available
- Short term forecasting, no more that 0-10 day windows rather than long-term planning
- Read production drawings, familiarise yourself with requirements and allocate to relevant team-members on-site

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Familiarity with a project based or "job shopping" environment is essential for this role
- Manufacturing acumen, ideally with a technical manufacturing background in a fabrication business
- Must be able to read production drawings
- Internal drive and motivation - highly autonomous role as part of a strong team
