**About the client**

Our client is a successful and innovative electrical components manufacturer with a strong brand in the market. This business is passionate about their product and they have been providing their loyal customer base across Australia for over 20 years.

**About the role**
- Permanent full time position within a small tight knit team in a national manufacturing company.
- Support the admin/accounts and procurement team.

**You will be proactive, accurate and efficient, taking ownership for your key accountabilities including**:

- Create inventory purchase orders from requisitions after reviewing stock levels and deciding on appropriate order quantities
- Prompt and efficient follow up of purchase orders
- Place orders on vendors for stock, non-stock and capital items
- Create stock transfers
- Maintain records of all products, data and costings

**About You**
- A proven track record in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret reports and data
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem solving skills
- Maturity and a sense of urgency
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
