About The Role
Reporting to the Bids & Contracts Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the review and drafting of supply contracts, identifying and mitigating commercial and legal risks for the national sales team to reach agreement with customers across Australia. You will also collaborate with Commercial Leaders to achieve optimal contract outcomes, maintain and enhance, through AI, our contract lifecycle management system, and contribute to continuous improvement in contract processes, clause libraries, and agreement templates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review all incoming agreement requests to identify commercial and legal risk
- Drafting contract departures for tenders and proposals submissions.
- Collaborate to reach the preferred position of the company in agreement with commercial and sales manager and coordinate approvals.
- Identify changes required to our Clause Library, Agreement templates and Commercial Policy and maintain the CLM Repository.
More about you
- Experience in the contract administration / procurement of the Business-to-Business sector (FMCG, business supplies, hardware supplies, etc purchased for workplaces)
- Exposure to Government and large Corporation customer contracts, experienced in negotiations across sales, procurement and legal professionals to reach agreement.
- Advanced MS Office skills, familiar with ERP systems and AI interfaces.
- Motivated to be part of a team to win and retain customer contract business
- Authentic and self-aware to collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information clearly.
- Well-organised, enthusiastic, self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to think commercially and understand legal risks and adjust risk profile accordingly.
