**Position**:Event Operations Manager - Full Time Permanent

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the planning and execution of assigned events, ensuring the highest level of quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and critical paths to ensure all events are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including signage, transportation, equipment rental, and contractor engagement.
- Oversee the selection and management of contractors, vendors, and other third-party suppliers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractors and venues, managing all communication and ensuring successful delivery.
- Manage onsite delivery of events which includes travelling interstate to events. If you're not in a position to travel regularly to events (approximately 6 - 12 weeks a year) - this position will not be the right fit for you.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including venue managers, exhibitors, and sponsors.
- Provide leadership and guidance to event staff, including on-site event coordinators and support staff.
- Analyse event data and provide recommendations for improvements and innovations to enhance the overall event experience.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in event operations, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale events.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Experience within Exhibitions and Conferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of event logistics, including site selection, transportation, equipment rental, and vendor coordination.
- Experience with managing teams of event coordinators and support staff.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems creatively.
- Familiarity with event management software and other digital tools.
- Lead event planning and event coordination team members to ensure consistent execution.
- Availability to travel and work weekends as needed.
- Passion for delivering high-quality events and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Frenchs Forest, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- event operations: 4 years (required)
