**Position Summary**

The Manager of IT, APAC oversees and coordinates the people, resources, and processes required to deliver managed internal IT systems to Pax8 Business Units. They own the hardware lifecycle for the APAC region, including procurement and disposal of assets, and are responsible for regular reviews of the hardware menu to ensure Pax8 gains the most value from our technology offerings. The Manager leads a white glove experience for service for our expanding user base, ensuring excellence is maintained at all times.

**Essential Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to)**:

- Perform full range of managerial duties for employees supervised, including recruitment, salary administration, performance reviews, 1:1's, and employee development
- Manage the Support Ops team's daily activities as well as the dispatch process of ServiceNow requests meetingSLA's and including staff onboarding/offboarding of Pax8 systems
- Identify ways to improve the cost efficiency of technology, continually evaluating vendor solutions in place, andproposing solutions to increase efficiency either through vendor selection and accountability or coordination with operations. Also to work with other heads of departments in order to identify new ways to add value.
- Communicate with other departments, senior management, functional peer groups, technical staff, andcustomers to ensure satisfactory customer support and maintain relationships
- Engage with other teams on projects and provide resources where necessary
- Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programmes, receiving peer or manager coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training

**Ideal Skills and Experience**:

- 3-5 Years of hands on technical experience
- At least 2 years of experience leading a team
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience using ServiceNow and its reporting functionalities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must be comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction and possess the ability to explain technical topics in everydaylanguage
- Familiarity with Intune, auto pilot, and the deployment of software packages
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and its licensing model
- Ability to adapt to change and update processes/procedures to accommodate
- Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
