**Customer Service (Facilities) Officer**
**Location**:Sydney CBD and Parramatta (close to Central and Parramatta Station with flexible working options)
**Clerk Grade**:3/4 Full-time, Temporary opportunity (immediate start, until 30 June 2025)
**Salary range**:$79,032 to $86,539 plus super
**About the Department**

**About the Role**
This is an essential role in supporting the maintenance administration and day to day running of Sydney CBD and Parramatta offices facilities, within commercial buildings supporting a variety of Public Service Agencies and business groups within DCS. Your primary role will be providing Facilities/Asset Maintenance, coordinating repairs and minor works, engaging with various stakeholders and contractors, completing related documentation as directed / required, in meeting current business operational needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in building facilities management who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Ideally, we are looking for someone available to **start immediately.**
**Essential requirements**
- Satisfactory criminal records check
- May be required to work out of hours and be on-call
**Additional Responsibilities and Duties include**:
- Providing administration around repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance schedules in line with business priorities
- Ensure that staff, contractors and members of the public are provided with a safe environment to work and visit.
- Preparing documentation and coordinating maintenance works or repairs of reported tenancy issues, making sure they are appropriately dealt with in a timely manner
- Administration of invoicing and verifying completed works for payment
**To be successful in this role you will require**:
- Previous experience in working in a building facilities management role, with a strong customer services focus
- Previous experience in Govt Agency facilities role an advantage
- Applicable minor Project / Works experience
- Competent with Office 365 and basic level of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Help Desk style, issues logging software
- Ability to engage with all stakeholders
- Ability to liaise with contractors and understand time frames, costs and materials in relation to maintenance requirements
- Working cooperatively with the Workplace Services teams and ability to meet high levels of customer support and engagement
