Business Resilience Manager

**The Role**

As the Business Resilience Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading business resilience activities to ensure organisational resilience during events that disrupt normal or critical operations. You will be accountable for implementing, managing, and reporting on business resilience, covering critical operations, business continuity management, crisis management, disaster recovery, and emergency management. This role involves a mix of strong stakeholder engagement skills, technical knowledge and experience as well as ability to influence and drive outcomes to ensure UniSuper remains a resilient business that can withstand unforeseen disruptions and deliver strong retirement outcomes to our members.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage UniSuper’s business resilience activities, including business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, and emergency management
- Ensure the business can respond to disruptions by keeping plans current, tested, and addressing any deficiencies
- Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels to embed and ensure business resilience
- Prepare reporting for executive and board committees on business resilience and risk governance activities
- Perform assurance on business resilience activities, controls, and regulatory compliance
- Provide training, hold meetings, and workshops on business resilience and Operational Risk Management
- Advise on incidents and breaches impacting critical and non-critical operations, and manage activities related to recovery and exit planning
- Support the organisation's compliance with CPS230 Operational Risk Management and CPS190 Recovery and Exit Planning

**About You**

You are a passionate professional with experience in business resilience management. You thrive in a team environment and deliver results.

Additionally, you possess:

- Experience developing policies, processes, procedures and delivering training for business resilience
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels building trusted relationships
- Proven history of influencing and driving outcomes and deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including an ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
- Composure and clear thinking during high-pressure situations
- Proactive attitude and a readiness to take on tasks and see them through to completion
- Ability to operationalise risk and resilience concepts.
- Ability to manage priorities proactively and effectively with good communication
- Experience working within a large, complex, cross functional organisation ideally with Superannuation or the Financial Services industry (strongly preferred but not essential but strong interest in business resilience and crisis management is a must)
