Sydney- Wealth Management- PermanentReconciliations is responsible for ensuring timely reconciliation of cash and shares, mitigation of any market risk and remediation of any discrepancies that occur across the portfolio of client plans.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Processing of both reconciliations, including Trading, HIN, Omnibus and Cash accounts.
- Raising reconciliation items for investigation via the reconciliation tracking system and driving the business for timely closure of said items
- Escalation of risk or exposure issues to management & mobilise cross-functional teams to assist in investigations.
- Daily and monthly reporting support for team management.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal Business Units.
- Assist your team in implementing tactical and strategic solutions to close identified control gaps, working with other groups as appropriate.

**Key qualifications include**:

- Analytical and strong problem-solving skills essential
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of reconciliations, both automated and excel driven
- Understanding of ASX regulations and reporting requirements as they pertain to the onshore business
- Experience working with client monies and is up to date with regulatory requirements
- Ability to work with colleagues in offshore locations, maintain communication and build rapport with these colleagues
- Strong excel and data driven analytical skills essential
- An ability to articulate reconciliation issues both in verbal and written form to help aid swift resolutions
