A unique opportunity to shape the future of the rural water business in Queensland. The Product Owner role is a key business position within the Rural Water Futures Program. This position will be the voice of the business in developing key business requirements for the innovative suite of digital cloud-based Water Information Queensland (WaterIQ) tools. This role will be working very closely with the business and the solution delivery team to make key decisions on behalf of the business in the software development cycle.

If you are someone who is passionate about improving how the department and water users across Queensland access and use water information to guide their sustainable management of our precious resource, then this is a role for you.

Working within a large transformational program, the Product Owner role will be closely engaging in an Agile software development process with a skilled software development team. Using your knowledge of natural resource management, including operational regulatory experience, you will be part of shaping the future of rural water business for Queensland.
