**How you’ll make a difference **

We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Absence Management Product Specialist to drive our Product Roadmap, enhancing our global payroll, and absence management systems.

You will have experience of payroll and leave management within Australia, as well as having exposure to UK, New Zealand and other markets. With a deep understanding of Local Government and/or Education requirements, you will work with customers and prospects, and shape the future direction of a rules driven global engine.

TechnologyOne exists to deliver customer-driven, innovative ERP software. We have global Product Success and R&D teams, delivering HR and Payroll Products as part of the ERP suite. Across TechnologyOne, there is an active HR & Payroll tribe, actively engagement in enablement, product enhancement and support to deliver customer outcomes.

**What you'll be doing...**

The Product Owner embodies the voice of the customer within our HR & Payroll Product Teams, and is the heartbeat for our product development lifecycle.
- Customer Community and Customer Engagement for Ideation, Design and Service Introduction
- Managing a team of Business Analysts to shape and validate requirements, develop user stories, and prioritising the product backlog.
- Leading the testing of new features and enhancements to ensure delivery of a maximum lovable product.
- Driving the team to produce quality documentation, videos and other learning resources to empower Consulting and Customers through implementation.
- Developing a global payroll and absence management roadmap to deliver an experience for reward and wellbeing solutions
- Drive the delivery roadmap, ensuring quality product outcomes and enabling the HR & Payroll tribe globally across TechnologyOne

**Your talents **
- Proven understanding of Australian leave and payroll compliance legislation as experience in UK, NZ or other markets
- Relevant experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Consultant, or, within a customer role responsible for HR and Payroll technology solutions and business outcomes
- Tech savvy, and with a strong commercial acumen
- Leadership Capability; builds a collective sense of direction fostering a collaborative culture inspiring delivery of high-quality standards of work
- Exceptional communication capability; develops concepts logically and concisely, promoting trust & commitment through consistent open communication
- Commercial acumen; sets goals & plans for areas of responsibility aligned with strategic direction
