Our Sydney team is growing

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated House Coordinator to support the team and guide the Children in our care. We are looking for a Coordinator who understands the importance of high-quality services with excellent time management skills, which meets the needs of the Children and Young People and our responsibilities under the Child Care and Protection Act.

The House Coordinator is responsible for:

- Overseeing the Intermediary Care Model service
- Supervision and training of Support Workers at this service
- Rostering
- Incident Management
- Completing Risk Assessments
- Maintaining a high-level of communication with all parties - including customers, stakeholders, staff and families

Essential Requirements:

- Relevant experience in managing a residential service, preferably supporting Youths in Out of Home Care
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Behavioural Science, or Psychology or working towards
- Sound knowledge of the Child Care and Protection Act
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and in partnership with other services within the organisation and community
- Sound practice and knowledge or significant experience in meeting the holistic needs of Children who have experienced significant trauma and/or a disability
- Most of all to have the passion and drive to help support Children to create positive outcomes in their lives
- Rostering experience
- Good understanding of diversity and the ability to work with different cultures
- Highly developed Microsoft office suite skills
