Our client is a leading provider of bulk liquid storage terminals across Australia & New Zealand. An opportunity has arisen for a maintenance professional to coordinate the maintenance of their facilities in Geelong and laverton. The bulk of the work (80%) will be from their Geelong facility.

The role will involve planning, co-ordinating and supervising maintenance works of terminals at their facilities. This includes all planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities, evaluating and procurement of suitable labour, equipment and vendors. A comprehensive position description relating to the extensive scope of the role is available on request.

Ideally, you are an experienced leader, with a previous background leading a maintenance team and overseeing small capital work projects. You will also have exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy. Experience with a CMMS is highly desirable.

**Essential requirements**
- Ideally experience with in the petroeum or chemical industries.
- Relevant Tertiary or Associate Diploma qualification or a trade background with at least 10 years’ experience working in an industrial based environment, with involvement in preventive and breakdown maintenance and process improvement.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of procedures and statutory regulations for the handling of flammable and hazardous goods. (HAZOP)
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Experience in managing minor maintenance projects.
- Use of MEX or similar Computerised Maintenance Management Software, Microsoft Word and Excel computer packages.
- Experience in risk assessments for SafeWork Method Statements/Job Safety Analysis including Cold Work, Hot Work and Confined Space.
- Financial cost centre control and budget development
- Living within 1 hour travel of Geelong. Travel to Laverton 20%. Geelong 80%
