Are you passionate about live events and ready to take the lead in overseeing production operations? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Production to join our client’s Audio Visual Company. As the Head of Production, you will directly manage our operations team, including crewing, logistics, and warehouse functions. Additionally, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between the operations and project Management departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient project delivery.

**The Role**:

- Directly manage the Operations team, including crewing, logistics, and warehouse staff.
- Oversee the project management team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between the two departments.
- Assume general administrative duties for the business as required
- Devote a large part of your time to overseeing crewing, logistics, and warehouse functions, ensuring optimal performance and providing support to the team.
- Dedicate the other portion of your time to collaborating with Project Managers to ensure successful project execution.
- Recruit and manage both full-time and casual technical staff, fostering a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Provide technical support, drawing upon your strong background in the field.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, ensuring the team's cohesiveness and productivity.
- Proven experience in team management, ideally within the audio visual / live events industry.
- Strong technical background and understanding of audio visual production processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between departments.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting and managing technical staff, both full-time and casual.
- Passion for live events and willingness to contribute hands-on when necessary.
- Mentorship capabilities to guide and develop junior technical staff.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Salary + Benefits**:

- $120-$150K+ (negotiable based on experience)
