The Head of Retail and Product Development will be at the forefront of creating a dynamic Powerhouse retail and design brand. This brand will develop and showcase captivating and culturally enriching products that reflect the Powerhouse's program and collection, represent industry development and enhance the retail program. The principles driving our retail strategy include brand cohesion, integration with the exhibition program, revenue generation, industry engagement, and cultivating Powerhouse as an internationally recognised brand.

This role combines creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the museum's objectives and audiences to curate an exceptional retail offering that aligns with the Powerhouse brand identity. The Head of Retail and Product Development will oversee all operations related to the Powerhouse's retail platforms, including product range, the museum retail outlet, pop-up shop opportunities and the online store.
