**About the Role**
As a Wholesale & Client Success Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and growing our wholesale operations. You’ll liaise with stockists, process orders and ensure a high level of service and brand alignment at every customer touchpoint.
This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese, as many of our producers are based in Japan. You will work closely with our founder and small team, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys meaningful work, cross-cultural collaboration, and the quiet impact of craftsmanship.
**What You’ll Be Responsible For**
・Managing wholesale order flow, from initial inquiry through to dispatch and post-sale follow-up
・Maintaining positive and professional communication with our stockists across Australia, Japan, and beyond
・Coordinating with Japanese producers regarding lead times, production schedules, and product updates
・Assisting in the preparation of line sheets, wholesale catalogs, and seasonal product launches
・Ensuring accuracy in inventory records, pricing, and order documentation
・Reporting on stockist feedback and identifying opportunities to improve our processes or offerings
・Supporting trade shows, online showroom platforms, and in-person events
・Helping implement and maintain wholesale systems and backend operations
**We’d Love to Hear From You If You**:
・Are fluent in both spoken and written Japanese and English (required)
・Have experience in wholesale, client relations, or operations in a lifestyle or design-oriented business
・Have a strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
・Share an appreciation for craftsmanship, natural materials, and slow-made products
・Are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your tasks
・Thrive in a small team environment where your voice and ideas matter
**Nice to Have**
・Familiarity with Shopify, or other wholesale e-commerce platforms
・Experience working with Japanese suppliers or manufacturers
・Background in merchandising, buying, or logistics
**Position Details**
・Part-time or full-time (4-5 days per week); casual arrangements also possible
・This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided, reporting directly to the Wholesale Manager.
・Primarily on-site to begin with; hybrid work arrangements may be available in the future
・Remuneration commensurate with experience
・Opportunities for growth and deeper involvement with the brand over time
