The Safety Division of the SSH Group delivers a broad range of services including security, road safety, and crisis support services for the construction, civil, mining and government industries.

**Job Information**:
SSH Group is seeking an experienced General Manager to join the business at our Operations Hub in Belmont. This position will be responsible for the overall management and direction of Security and Safety division ensuring all aspects of service delivery are executed to exceed client expectations. This position is a key role and will be pivotal in defining the growth strategy for the division in line with the business vision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring service delivery to key clients exceeds service level agreements to all contracts
- Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures to meet business objectives
- Develop and lead change initiatives and continuous improvement strategies to improve the performance of the business
- Provide proactive leadership to department personnel to achieve objectives, targets and associated KPI’s
- Research, implement new Safety Services and integrate any new opportunities / acquisitions
- Assist in the development on new contract acquisition and tender development
- Managing financial costs for department, developing budgets, and ensuring profitable outcomes
- Maintain and manage company compliance, including the maintenance of ISO certification standards
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar leadership position
- Business Degree
- Previous experience in the Security, Health, Safety Services sector
- Previous experience leading a Service-Based business to Tier 1 customers
- Demonstrated experience growing an organization / department
- Demonstrated experience managing large workforces through continuous improvement / change
- Demonstrated experience implementing best practice organizational systems
- Strategic, flexible, and proactive approach
- Superior risk and conflict management skills
- A high level of honesty and integrity
