**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Community Engagement Officer to join Office of the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for the implementation of a range of engagement activities for the Faculty of Health. In this role you will develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure the Faculty's strategic objectives are successfully implemented. You will engage with various alumni, philanthropic donors, members of the public as well as academic and professional colleagues. Maintaining administrative systems and contributing to the planning and reporting of activities are also key functions of this position.

**About the Faculty**

The Faculty of Health is led by the Executive Dean and the Executive Management Team comprising the Deputy Dean, Heads of Schools, and other senior faculty staff. **What you need to succeed**

As a strong communicator, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate the shared QUT Values in your approach to work.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience..
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing engagement activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small team to deliver a high standard of client service.
- Proven planning and organisational skills, with experience in establishing own priorities and working within tight and competing deadlines.
- High level interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and an understanding of relationship management and engagement.
- High level written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely across a variety of mediums with attention to detail.
