**About The Opportunity**
Our Operations team, based at our Fortitude Valley office in Brisbane, are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join them. In this role you will support customers with an existing license agreement, whilst also assisting with pre-sales activities and client training.
This role will specialise in supporting Micromine’s modern mine scheduling and haulage solutions, used by mining companies to optimise the performance of their operations.
Reporting to the Technical Support Team Lead (Mining), your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting customers with an existing Micromine license agreement.
- Delivering training courses to clients (face-to-face and online) as required.
- Providing pre-sales assistance and technical support to Micromine’s global network of personnel and partners.
- Liaising with product development teams and software users during the software design cycle.
- BETA testing new products and versions, providing feedback on new features, and assessing the impact on support procedures and documentation.
- Ensuring enhancement requests, bugs, and development issues are raised with the product development team and are resolved.

**About You**
You will have an interest in computer software and providing high quality customer support to clients in the mining sector.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or another related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of C# scripting would be beneficial.
- Whilst not essential, exposure to either software support or the mining industry will be highly regarded.
