As the **Procurement Portfolio Lead** you will manage complex sourcing initiatives, provide stakeholder support and ensure we get the best value from our suppliers all while staying aligned to policy, compliance, and our broader business goals.

You won’t just tick boxes. You’ll be at the center of contract negotiations, category planning, and supplier relationship management helping to shape how procurement delivers outcomes across the business, while seeking quick wins and efficiencies in uplifting our processes.

**What you’ll do**
You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across HBF—Finance, Legal, Technology, Risk, and more—to ensure every procurement decision is well-informed and aligned with organisational goals. You will also:
**Shape strategy**: Lead category planning, market analysis, and procurement strategy development.
**Deliver value**: Run RFx processes, evaluate suppliers, and drive negotiations that benefit HBF and our members.
**Stakeholder support**: Be a trusted advisor to Contract Owners and Managers, guiding them through procurement best practices.
**Build better systems**: Improve processes, embed ESG goals, and ensure compliance with our Procurement Policy.
**Manage contracts**: Help manage the full lifecycle of vendor contracts, from negotiation and implementation to renewal and variation.

**About You**
You are someone who not only knows procurement inside and out—but also brings the confidence and curiosity to lead, influence, and make smart decisions. You thrive on solving complex problems, building strong relationships, and driving real business outcomes, you also have;
- Several years’ experience in procurement and supply chain within a national organisation
- The ability to negotiate like a pro and work well with a range of stakeholders
- A proven track record of running and reviewing procurement processes that actually deliver commercial value
- Confidence using procurement tools and tech to analyse data and make decisions
- Know-how around managing contracts through systems across their full lifecycle bonus point for familiarity with ERP systems or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
