**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a** Privacy Manager** to lead the privacy function of the NSW Police Force.

The primary purpose of the role is to manage the NSW Police Force privacy practice and function, including:

- The Mandatory Notification of Data Breach Scheme;
- Internal Reviews, Amendment Applications and Access Requests;
- Privacy Impact Assessments;
- Internal stakeholder engagement providing privacy advice, guidance and increasing awareness to drive a privacy by design culture;
- Engagement with the public in relation to privacy issues;
- Engagement with the NSW Information and Privacy Commission as required;
- Develop stakeholder relations with partner agencies.

strong communicator with the ability to influence key stakeholders, both internal and external and be confident with data,
reporting, or analytics. Presentation skills and leadership will be highly regarded.

Note: It is planned that the role will include two direct reports (Clerk 7/8 Privacy Officers) in the foreseeable future to support the above deliverables.
