**About C&K**

The Childcare and Kindergarten Association Limited (C&K) is a not-for-profit early childhood provider with nearly 350 early childhood education and care services located across Queensland. C&K acknowledges that each child and family have unique early education and care requirements and so we provide a range of different programs including childcare, kindergarten, outside school hours' care and integrated services.

**About the opportunity**

The position is responsible for ensuring that C&K attracts exceptional people to meet its resourcing requirements that can contribute to achieving its vision of being a place where every child flourishes. Key accountabilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Fill permanent and fixed term contract vacancies
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle for permanent and fixed term contract positions.
- Provide value added advice to hiring managers
- Build an in-depth understanding of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector, labour market knowledge and trends. Use this knowledge to inform recruitment strategies.
- Identify business and/or process improvements and make recommendations to realise them.
- Meet and exceed targets including; recruitment volume, time-to-fill, cost per hire, hiring manager satisfaction and new employee satisfaction.
- Involvement with ad-hoc projects as identified and required.

This position can be based at our Central office (Kedron) or one of our regional offices (e.g. Mackay, Townville, Cairns, Gladstone, Rockhampton) and will have the flexibility to work from home.

**About you**

This role will suit someone with the following experience, skills and abilities:

- Experience in an end-to-end, hands-on, high-volume internal recruitment or recruitment agency position(s).
- Experience using recruitment management systems/applicant tracking systems, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Payroll systems.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate as required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, work collaboratively with colleagues and autonomously/independently as required.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- A customer centric approach and focus to provide exceptional customer service.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritise, manage workloads and expectations.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and integrity.
