Where the team fits in
- The Head of Internal Audit sits within The Finance and Business Services team, or FaBS as we like to call them, which is the engine room of the REA Group. The team is comprised of Finance, Risk & Assurance, Workplace Experience & Procurement, Investor Relations, Corporate Development and Corporate Communications.

This cross-functional group of individuals who are the best in their fields, provide strategic commercial input and guidance around decisions across all levels of the business, while continually improving the 'behind the scenes' of REA to support our people, drive efficiencies and maximise customer satisfaction.
- As part of the Risk & Assurance function, the role is responsible for the development and execution of the Annual risk-based Internal Audit plan.

What the role is all about- Develop and execute the REA Group annual Audit Plan in consultation with key stakeholders.-
- Ensure all planned audits are appropriately scoped (ensuring resource and stakeholder capacity), completed to a high quality and in line with the REA Audit Methodology.-
- Work with the Risk & Assurance business partners to ensure appropriate management actions are agreed for audit findings.-
- Engage and manage third-party audit firms to undertake the internal audits on the annual audit plan on behalf of REA Group and monitor their performance.-
- Validate the proposed closure of all agreed management actions flowing from completed audits.Who we’re looking for- CA or CPA, CISA qualified with a few runs on the board - experience as an auditor.-
- Proven capability and understanding in overseeing of IT reviews and audits.-
- Audit data analytics experience is desirable but not essential.-
- Has business acumen, easily approachable, and engages with the business, to find practical solutions.-
- Highly developed and excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.-
- Excellent attention to detail.-
- Proven ability to manage third parties to deliver to a high standard.-
- Excellent business writing and presentation skills aligned to needs of executives and Board members.The REA experience
