Location: Kogarah, NSW

Clinic Type: Busy Single GP Practice

Employment Type: Casual/Part-Time

Are you an organised, friendly, and reliable person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our busy GP clinic in Kogarah. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our doctor and provide exceptional service to our patients.

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the clinic.

Hours:

- Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm and 3:00pm - 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and managing front-desk reception duties
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing bookings
- Processing Medicare claims, billing, payments, and workers’ compensation claims
- Updating and maintaining patient records
- Assisting the GP with administrative tasks as required
- Ensuring a friendly and professional environment for patients

About You
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a GP clinic preferred, but not essential
- Knowledge of Best Practice or similar medical software highly regarded
- Experience with Medicare billing and workers’ comp claims is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- A professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
