Our quest for excellence continues as we seek a dynamic Commercial Manager for the Personal Care Industry. The essence of this role is to not just meet sales targets but to redefine commercial success. We're looking for someone who can establish and nurture deep and robust relationships that not only maximize sales with our medium to high-value customers but also champion and cultivate assigned client portfolios within our team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Alignment**: Strategically align client objectives with DKSH's commercial objectives, ensuring a synergy that drives mutual growth and commitment
- **Relationship Building**: Identify key decision-makers and gatekeepers within customer organizations and nurture these relationships to unlock the full potential of our portfolio
- **Customer-Centric**: Develop an intimate understanding of our customers' business needs and future aspirations, positioning us as their trusted partner
- **Pricing Expertise**: Devise effective pricing strategies to safeguard gross margins while promoting growth
- **Partnership Negotiations**: Engage in negotiations with customers, forging partnerships and seizing major project opportunities to solidify our position as the leading supplier of specialty chemicals
- **Product Portfolio Management**: Continuously tend to client product portfolios, identify unique value propositions that position us optimally against competitor products, farm your portfolio for growth and develop go-to-market plans that collaborate with the team to create new opportunities
- **Digital Mastery**: Harness the power of DKSH's digital marketing capabilities to expedite project development and amplify the brand value for our clients
**To Thrive in This Role, You Will Need**:
- **Technical Prowess**: A technical degree or background that equips you with the knowledge to understand and communicate complex concepts effectively and share them clearly with a broad audience
- **Proven Track Record**: Demonstrated success in technical sales and product management within the specialty chemical distribution or manufacturing sector
- **Industry Insight**: A robust network and in-depth experience in the Personal Care & Cosmetics industry to navigate the complexities of our target markets
- **Key Account Management**: Proficiency in key account management, emphasizing the ability to nurture and expand existing client relationships
- **Communication Excellence**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that allow you to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, engage your team, customers and clients and stand out from the crowd
