As a Kitchen Cook at Stacked in Penrith, you will assume a crucial role in the kitchen operations, responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Your role directly influences the quality of our culinary offerings and contributes to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Food Preparation and Cooking:
Execute cooking tasks, including grilling, baking, sautéing, and frying, according to established recipes and guidelines.
Ensure the consistent quality and presentation of food items.

Hygiene and Cleanliness:
Uphold stringent hygiene standards by regularly cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
Adhere to proper food safety practices, including handwashing and the use of protective gear.

Stock Management:
Monitor ingredient levels and collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Communicate promptly when supplies are running low to prevent disruptions in kitchen operations.

Kitchen Maintenance:
Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.
Contribute to the routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment under the guidance of kitchen management.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflows and timely food preparation.
Effectively communicate with colleagues to facilitate smooth task handovers.

Customer Service Support:
Play a key role in delivering excellent customer experiences by contributing to a clean and organized kitchen environment, directly impacting food quality and overall ambiance.

Adherence to Procedures:
Comply with security and safety procedures to maintain a secure environment for all staff and customers.
Assist in implementing necessary safety protocols.

Uniform and Presentation:
Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the provided uniform standards as per the Stacked brand guidelines.

Qualifications:
Mandatory: Previous experience in a kitchen or cooking role.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Willingness to learn and take direction from the kitchen management team.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring bending and lifting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.22 - $35.37 per hour
