Penrith Municipality, Australia Lakeside Restaurant Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Lakeside Restaurant is a highly respected and well-established venue, located inside Sydney International Regatta Centre. Established in 2000 for the Sydney Olympics, the Regatta Centre and Restaurant hold functions and events all year round, as well as regular restaurant dining.

Our sister Restaurant… Longs House opened in Castlereagh last year, receiving overwhelming support from the local community. Long's House is set in a beautiful house dating back to the early 1900s and is located next to Sydney Helicopters on Castlereagh Rd.

Due to growth demands we are now seeking experienced Front of House staff for a number of full-time, part-time and casual wait staff positions to join our team for both our restaurants located in the Penrith Lakes area.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare tables by setting up
  • Present the menu to guests and provide information when needed
  • Inform customers about the weekly specials
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders
  • Communicate the orders to the kitchen
  • Make drinks at the bar
  • Serve food and drink orders to customers
  • Make coffee

You will have:

  • RSA qualifications
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to help where needed
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Be reliable and have your own transport
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to carry multiple plates of prepared food
  • Experience as a Barista will hold a great advantage
