Black Bean Coffee Bar are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working Cafe Supervisor to join our team, initially at Perth Zoo.
**About you**:

- Monday-Friday availability with the occasional Saturday.
- Minimum of one year experience in a similar role as a Café Supervisor with experience managing a team of staff.
- Keen interest in supporting others to learn and develop
- Great work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure
- Be flexible, efficient, and have high attention to detail
- Have a positive and can-do attitude and be motivated and proactive in your approach
- Conflict resolution and sound decision-making skills
- Enjoy building relationships with regular visitors and Perth Zoo staff
- Lead by example with exceptional communication skills and friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of WHS and Food Safety procedures
- Manual handling experience
- Must have Hospitality Hygiene Certificate and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

**About the role**:

- Daily responsibility of opening and closing outlets
- You will be responsible for ensuring all staff are working to our company standards and policies.
- Problem solving coffee machines when issues arise
- Staff training in all areas of operating standards, customer service and product knowledge
- Shared responsibility for stock rotation and ordering and receiving supplies
- Daily management of staff to maintain a high quality of product and customer service
- Assist in maintaining labour costs, roster scheduling and identify opportunities to build the business
- Handle customer complaints and feedback
- Handle interpersonal co-worker disputes
- Maintain outlet presentation and cleanliness
- Be able to adapt to slow periods and use your initiative to source tasks to do in quiet times and delegate to staff.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour
