As this business continues to maintain their dominance in the market, they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Creating and confirming various purchase orders.
- Using established processes to review and verify purchase orders for quantity, price, and cost savings.
- Regularly liaising with Vendors surrounding forecasts, production capacity, purchase order updates and quotes.
- Maintaining inventory, records, and pricing lists to ensure this data is accurate for existing and potential future suppliers.
- Working closely with 3PL providers and other internal customers to encourage and ensure continuous improvement for scheduling and order processing.
- Monitoring and tracking vendor performance through financial reviews and product performance and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Creating product supply plans in accordance with the IBP cadence.
- Liaising with Logistics providers for on-time delivery to the warehouse.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Strong knowledge in purchasing functions and practices
- A good understanding of Logistics and Transport
- Comprehensive experience in using MS Office and Google Apps.
- Experience and knowledge in using SAP or similar ERP systems
- A working knowledge of manufacturing, procedures management, inventory management and distribution.
- The ability to work with varying internal teams such as Sales, Product management, Engineering and Vendors.
- A focus on attention to detail whilst prioritising total accuracy of data and its integrity.
- Experience in working primarily with finished, fast moving goods
- Familiarity and the knowledge of Demand Planning.
