Experts in Supply Chain solutions within the FMCG space, the business has been operating with big players in the supermarket industry for decades. Priding themselves on high level and consistent service to their customers, and off the back of some significant recent growth with an agile and pivoting business model, this organisation is looking for an energetic and collaborative Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team in Melbourne’s East.

Your new role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator in this business, your responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with Freight Forwarders to assist in monitoring of freight, document processing and filing.
- Ensuring customers orders are process accurately across all product categories.
- Assist with forecasting tasks.
- Consistent data entry and maintenance of the integrity of this data.
- Work with customers’ freight providers through their nominated portals to confirm orders and product quantities.
- Support the wider functions of the Supply Chain team through filing, archiving and system maintenance.

What you’ll need to succeed

To ensure success in this role, you’ll need:

- Knowledge and experience in Import/Export operations and duties.
- Sound IT skills.
- A demonstrated ability to manage a variety of tasks.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly growing business.
- The ability to take initiative with the motivation to succeed.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Knowledge of customer and freight forwarding relationships and their operations.
- A focus towards customer centricity with excellent communication skills.
