**A full time, permanent opportunity **has become available in our
**Bupa Dental Assurance team**, reporting into the Head of Assurance. This is a hybrid role and can be based out of our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office locations when not working from home or
**remotely with some travel required.

The Assurance Lead will manage all governance, quality assurance and process improvement related to Bupa Dental Care (BDC) FSA’s and quality systems. This role will lead, advise and support all functions on effective business and quality to optimise operational excellence.
**How will I help?
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee contracting negotiations with current and prospective Practice Principals and other related third parties.
- Ensure pipeline opportunities are identified early and strategically considered enabling a planned and organised approach to commercial negotiations.
- Develop and schedule a program of assurance and compliance activities for the Assurance team.
- Contribute to creation and maintenance of the BDC Quality Management strategy, approach and documentation.
- Establish and lead framework for policy and procedure implementation and monitoring, ensure alignment and efficiency of policies and procedures in accordance with ISO9001:2015.
- Support and co-ordinate business process improvement initiatives
- Act as process change leader to ensure the integrity of the quality system is maintained as the organisation grows and changes, including review and changes to existing documentation and the creation of new documentation.
- Monitor and manage all ICRMA and Internal Audit Management Action Plans and support the leadership team in implementation of noted plans.
- Creation and maintenance of end-to-end process maps.

**What do I need?**
- Minimum of 3 years in a Quality and Compliance role preferably at management level. Experience within a Dental or medical setting will be highly regarded.
- Comprehensive understanding of the political, legislative, regulatory, compliance and consumer environments affecting the Health Industry including awareness of key competitors.
- Experience in leading quality and assurance functions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and refine service delivery and governance processes
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and embedding compliance processes and systems within large, matrix-structured environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive action
- Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic planning ability.
