**About the Role**:
The HR Assistant role is responsible for assisting HR Manager with the day-to-day HR administrative duties, ensure its accuracy and efficiency and provide support in recruitment and employee relations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Prepare letters of offer and employment contracts.
- Ensure the latest HR policies, procedures; forms and position descriptions are accessible to all internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and assistance to system users on how to navigate the HR system effectively.
- Assist HR Manager in creating /updating user manual and checklist when needed.
- Conduct HRIS new user/refresher training when required
- Assist the HR Manager in handling complaints and grievance procedures.
- Manage staff records and related checks in the HRIS system
- Assisting in training and development activities

**About you**:
**Essential**:

- Minimum one year’s experience in Human resources management or similar administrative roles.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or related fields.
- The ability to produce accurate work with a high attention to detail, and within challenging time frames.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to use initiative and think laterally to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- A high level of confidentiality.
- Sound knowledge of industrial relations and experiences in interpreting modern awards and enterprise agreements.
- **Strong communication skills and fluent in English, plus Cantonese and Mandarin.**:

- Able to communicate with stakeholders at different levels and from different backgrounds.
- The flexibility and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- National Police Clearance.
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

**Desirable**:

- Demonstrated initiation and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in negotiating and resolving conflict/disputes in the workplace.
- Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.
- Experience working with the Aged Care or Community care sector.
- Experience in using enableHR HRIS.
