**Your new role**

Sitting within the Property, Wealth & Capital Markets team the ‘Asset Manager’ is a key strategic role. With very little turnover on the team, this role is available due to an internal promotion.

The role is responsible for overall asset optimisation by maximising both income and capital returns, including the execution of specified business plans for each of the properties within the Trust.

The role is primarily responsible for overseeing all facility, financial, property management, risk and compliance obligations relating to a Property Trust Portfolio - including regular reporting on the performance of the investments and the markets they operate in and will involve all the valuations these properties.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant property industry experience with strong focus on asset management
- Experience with investment management, commercial support and financial compliance and reporting
- Knowledge of property related legislation
- Sound understanding of valuation principles and ability to question and critically evaluate valuations
- Developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated financial acumen and strong business and commercial judgement
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in property, business, or investment related field
- Tertiary qualifications in property or finance or equivalent experience
