**How will I help?**

The Finance Manager role is a business partnering position focused on remediation provisions and payments across the Consumer and Business & Wealth Divisions. This includes conduct reporting and ASX half-year obligations.

For the Consumer Division, the role also involves month end expense management including improving productivity and enhancing automation across the COO business unit to assist with month-end processes, forecasting, target setting, and providing value-added insights.

Support the Head of Finance to deliver insights and advice for better business performance outcomes. And collaborate with Directors & Senior Managers in COO and GEM Finance to understand business performance and remediation.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
**Partnering & Relationships**:

- Build strong relationships with remediation delivery teams and senior finance stakeholders.
- Ensure the business remains productive, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Group Expense Management (GEM) team and accounting colleagues.

**Reporting, Forecasting & Insight**:

- Ensure the integrity of monthly financial results and remediation provision and payments.
- Assist in producing timely, accurate, and insightful monthly management reports.
- Provide insights and advice on actual performance against plans and forecasts.
- Challenge business assumptions used for forecasting to ensure robust outcomes.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and resolve issues identified from reviews.

**Strategy, Performance & Projects**:

- Provide ad-hoc analysis on the financial performance of the COO Business.
- Assist in delivering finance transformation initiatives and ad-hoc finance projects.
- Facilitate continuous improvement through re-engineering initiatives and problem resolution.

**People & Development**:

- Prepare and implement a development plan to expand professional and personal capabilities.
- Participate in team building and networking initiatives.Supervise junior GEM team members and provide ad-hoc assistance as needed.

**What do I need?**

**Skills and Expertise**:

- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline.
- Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, CFA) are desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Knowledge of reporting and operational processes, accounting practices within the finance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), TM1, Oracle General Ledger, and ideally SQL, and PowerBI.
