**Key Responsibilities**
- Delivery of multiple testing projects to approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Responsible for working closely with external testing service providers to deliver test functions
- Responsible for assurance activities across all test deliverables such as review of test estimates, strategies, schedules, plans and completion reports.
- Management and influence of key testing stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Promote and instil test process excellence, efficiency, and reduced cost to project deployment.
- Manage testing vendors to quality commitments.
- Definition of Test Strategy for BI projects
- Performing a combined lead and test execution role on large pieces of project work as assigned by the Solution Design and Test Governance Manager.

**Key Tasks**
- Working with the Test and Project Manager to identify the streams of testing required for the Project - typically Vendor Testing, SIT & UAT and once in production CVT & PVT and helping to create an overall testing approach for the project
- Reviewing and signing off on TOM & TSR
- Running project defect meetings to ensure all defects raised either by any of the project streams are progressed in a timely fashion to ensure each testing stream remains unblocked and can close out on time
- For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) acquiring and analysing all relevant project documentation to determine testing coverage for each testing stream documented in the TOM format
- Liaising with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing coverage meets their requirements
- For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) managing the test case creation (whether writing the test cases yourself, managing Test Analysts to do so or a combination of both) such that the test planning closes out on time and within the budget assigned
- For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) ensuring the test data and environment requirements are provided to the environment manager in a timely fashion to allow testing to begin on time
- For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) managing the test execution (whether executing the test cases yourself, managing Test Analysts to do execution or a combination of both) such that the test execution closes out on time and within the budget assigned
- Providing overall project test execution progress reporting using the assigned template daily including all testing streams
- For UAT specifically working with the business to manage the business execution on a day-to-day basis
- Logging any defects found during testing, escalate in accordance with set procedures and then work with build and design teams to rectify issues and then work to accept fixes back into the environment for re-execution.
- For each testing stream for the project (ST, SIT, UAT, CVT & PVT) ensuring all test information is tracked through-out execution and then summarising into a Test Summary Report using the appropriate template

**Skills Required**:

- Previous successful test management of several projects including at least 5 years' experience as a Test Manager is essential
- Deep knowledge of the software Systems Development Lifecycle is essential
- Deep knowledge of test processes, practices and methods is essential
- A proven track record of managing and delivering successful test outcomes in a complex environment is essential
- Prior knowledge of software products from Netezza /AWS / SAS / Cognos/ Tableau is highly desirable
- Prior experience working in the Business Intelligence domain is highly desirable
- Prior experience working in the banking and insurance domain is desirable
- Prior experience working with JIRA and Confluence is desirable

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
