**Your new company**

Our client is the government’s chief digital advisor, responsible for providing strategic and policy leadership on whole-of-government and shared information and communications technology investments and digital service delivery. They lead the development, delivery and monitoring of whole-of-government strategies, policies, and standards.

**Your new role**

The Governance and Finance team is part of the Digital Sourcing Branch within the Digital Investment Advice and Sourcing Division. The team is responsible for delivering strategic and administrative financial operations, governance oversight, and compliance administration for whole-of-government panels/marketplaces, and single-seller arrangements (WofG contract arrangements with vendors like Microsoft and IBM).

Working within the Governance Team, you will- Support governance and compliance administration activities- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders- Administer day-to-day governance and compliance tasks- Assist the team with panel management tasks

Your key duties are to:

- Undertake Seller compliance activities with limited supervision, performing corrective actions and solving issues as they arise
- Daily Seller compliance task processing (insurance certification, Statement of Tax Record, and labour hire licence checks), and other applicable Seller compliance activities
- Provide administrative and secretariat support, and document preparation
- Contribute to the team’s mandate of continual improvement to optimise governance and risk management
- Be responsible for the achievement of my own outcomes, assisting with team deliverables, BAU and project activities
- Manage relationships with buyers, sellers, and internal stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have the following:

- Experience in administration, procurement, contract management, or governance
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide timely, considered, and accurate advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Good stakeholder engagement skills with a positive and flexible approach to problem-solving
- Be adaptable and resilient, with the ability to multitask and prioritise delivery of outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points for:

- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (or equivalent).
- Knowledge and experience in whole-of-government co-ordinated procurement
