Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services and social support in Geraldton, Perth and in the South West. Due to an increase in client, we are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and highly flexible individuals to join our Bethanie Community team in the capacity of **Qualified Support Workers and Unqualified Support Workers** with roles available across the **Rockingham and Kwininana area**.

This role is being offered on a **Permanent Part Time basis**, with a guaranteed **minimum of 15 hours.**
- **Qualifed Support Worker** hours typically 7:30am - 3:00pm, the suitable candiate will be available from Wednesday to Friday with a potential of accepting additional shifts.
- **Unqualified Support Worker** hours are available Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm.

Whilst you use your own car we offer a generous travel allowance of **$0.92 per kilometre.**

**About the role**:

- Professionally deliver a variety of services (including: food, laundry, personal care, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests & domestic cleaning)
- Ensure all living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazards
- All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented appropriately
- Provide respect and compassion to clients
- Support customer with transport to appointments
- Provide social support to customers spending time doing the things they love
- Permanent part time or casual roles available

**About you**:

- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferable - don’t worry if you don’t have a qualification, we can help you get one
- Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care environment is desired - if you haven’t worked in the industry tell us about your passion for older people
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintained
- Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willing to obtain required vaccinations
