**ROLE OBJECTIVES**
Present, promote & sell products to help satisfy customers wants & needs.
Maintain a positive business relationship with customers to ensure future sales.
Customer service support from warehouse, sales and deliveries.
The SDR’s primary goal is to generate new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers.
**ROLE ACTIVITIES**
**Lead Qualification**: After generating interest, the SDR qualifies leads to ensure they meet specific criteria (e.g., budget, authority, needs, timing). They ask questions to understand the prospect’s pain points and determine whether the company’s product or service is a good fit.
**Appointment Setting**: Schedules meetings or demos between with potential customer.
**Pipeline Management**: They maintain detailed records of outreach and lead status using a CRM tool. Continuous follow-ups and relationship-building are essential to nurture leads that may not be ready to purchase immediately.
**Collaboration**: Work closely with the sales, management and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and tactics, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s goals.
**Skills and Qualifications**:Needs excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage prospects and handle rejection. They must be organized, persistent, and able to manage high volumes of outreach. Experience with CRM tools and knowledge of sales techniques is also important.
**Career Progression**: This entry-level role often serves as a stepping stone to higher sales positions, such as Account Executive or Sales Manager, offering SDRs a path to develop their skills and move into more senior roles.

3. Distribute supply & install leads to our preferred contractors
4. Prepare supply only quotes
5. Meet, greet & service customers
6. Follow up regularly on enquiries until they are completed & closed
7. Follow up on Supply only quotations until they have been processed as an order or no longer required
8. Check order status, production status, stock batches & dispatch times to advise customers
10. Stock orders - checking stock & allocating roll numbers with the factory and warehouse team
11. TBM Orders - checking with production & the customer when it can be made
12. Checking & sending quotations to customers
13. Arrange & send samples out to customers when they need
**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES**:
- Excellent customer service ethics
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administration and accounting skills within a high-volume processing environment
- Proven ability to multi-task and time manage
- Advanced Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel
