**About the Role**
- Part Time, Permanent
- CSD Level 2 From $67,330 - $72,196 pa pro rata + Salary Packaging + Super
- Location: Ipswich

The Peer Wellbeing Coach must have their own lived experience of mental illness or personal experience in caring for someone who experiences mental illness and posses a rich understanding of their experiences of mental health recovery. As a Peer Wellbeing Coach, you must be willing to purposefully use your own story to help others further their own understanding of recovery. This is an outreach position, you will have access to a tailored training program and to regular opportunities to reflect upon and develop their practice.

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Lived experience of mental health recovery or experience as a carer for someone who has experienced mental health recovery
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability and willingness to work effectively as part of a team, to meet program goals and objectives
- Knowledge of complex mental health and drug and alcohol issues
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Current Blue Card
- Australian Working Rights
- A current drivers licence
- Police check (refer to PD) - disclosable outcomes considered
