**The Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated Individual to join our dynamic team as a Production Officer. You will be working in the Royal Australian Air Force’s ‘Mechanical Equipment and Operations Maintenance Section’ (MEOMS) within the Maintenance Control Section (MCS).

Key Duties
- Raise work order documentation in accordance with respect to technical regulatory frameworks.
- Collating relevant technical documentation to support stakeholders.
- Adhering to policy and procedure.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecasting and Scheduling maintenance activities within your work group.In this role, you will be required to but not limited to;
- Manage and monitor information management systems and address work order requests.
- Be accountable to administer and coordinate the maintenance of equipment with respect to technical regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare responses to correspondence, briefs and reports for management.
- Advise equipment users on maintenance work being undertaken.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in teamwork and group activities.
- Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member.
- Recommend solutions to issues affecting the achievement of desired outcomes.
- Interpret and comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.

**About Our Team**
MCS is the supporting office for 26SQN MEOMS that forecasts and schedules technical maintenance activities on ground support vehicles and equipment. MCS is a customer focused entity, that works to support and liaise with many internal and external stake holders. MCS is a critical component within the squadron, ensuring ground equipment is serviceable for supported business units, to maintain capability.

26 Squadron MEOMS is responsible for the repair and maintenance of; Airfield Sweepers, Specialised Surveillance Trailers, Air-conditioners and Electrical Power Trailers, Mobile Lighting Equipment, Motor Cycles and Plant Equipment, Mercedes 4x4 and 6x6 vehicles, MAN Medium and Heavy Transport Vehicles including Armoured Versions, Bush Master Armoured Troop Carriers and; Fire Fighting Equipment.

In this position, you will need to have the ability to work both autonomously and as a team. You will need to be able to problem solve and adapt to changes in work priorities. Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills across face-to-face, phone and written correspondence. This is a customer focus based role, where you will be liaising with many stakeholders from many business entities to achieve the best results for the end user.
