Disability Support Worker

Kind & Care Labour Hire are committed to supporting people with a disability who are living in a variety of settings. You will significantly improve the lives of people with a disability and support them to achieve the goals that they have set for themselves.
Your working day may include (but not limited to), assistance and or support with daily life, including personal care, domestic activities, social and community participation and varying skill development activities.
What we are looking for
Passionate, motivated and reliable Disability Support Workers who pride themselves on excellent service delivery. If you have;
- Cert IV in Disability or relevant qualification* and/or equivalent experience;
- Currently undertaking Cert IV in Disability or equivalent.
- Current police check (less than 6 months old);
- Working with Children Check;
- Current First Aid level 2;
- Current CPR (annual);
- Manual handling training;
- Administration of medication training;
- International police check (if applicable);
- An enthusiastic, reliable, empathetic and proactive approach with a desire to work with people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.

**Salary**: $24.00 - $37.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rosebud VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
