**About The Society of Saint Hilarion**:
The Society of Saint Hilarion Inc Aged Care is a not for profit organisation with over 30 years experience providing Residential Aged Care services across two sites and Home Care and Community programs.

**Position Overview**:
The Residential Billing Officer plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all billing and claiming activities within the organisation. This role is responsible for managing monthly statements, invoicing, and reconciliation processes, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance. Working within a close-knit finance team, the Residential Billing Officer ensures an end-to-end billing process, and compliance with aged care funding models and regulatory requirements.

As a key member of the Finance team, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in the workplace whilst developing and growing your career within.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Issue monthly statements and invoices accurately and within required timeframes.
- Process direct debits, reconcile payments received, and manage refunds as needed.
- Investigate and resolve accounts queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare regular monthly reports as well as ad hoc reporting as requested.
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to all billing, invoicing and claiming activities.
- Ensure all billing and claims activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

**About You**:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, e.g. confident using pivot tables and lookup functions.
- Experience with billing systems or accounting software, such as the Medicare Claims Portal or similar platforms e.g. NDIS.
- Highly organised with strong administrative skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and managing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond to queries clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated experience in billing and finance, accounts, or claims processing, preferably within a health or aged care setting is desirable.
