Training Officer

**You will plan, deliver, assess and evaluate training for Protective Service Officers and recruits and contribute to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of relevant operational skills.
Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Provide training to Protective Services Officers and recruits.
- Assess program participants and prepare required reports based on these assessments.
- Liaise with and develop effective working relationships with members of the Queensland Police Service and other agencies and individuals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of course curricula by conducting research, evaluation and development of training courses.
- Continue ongoing personal development and training to ensure best practice in the effectiveness of personal and instructional skills.

Other:
- There are no mandatory requirements for this role, however formal qualifications in Assessment and Training (eg Certificate IV or higher) would be highly regarded.
- Training may be delivered at various locations throughout the State, which will necessitate the need for travel.
