**The Company**
Edutemps are excited to partner with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that leads the way in safety, construction and high-risk work training and assessment. Our client's world-class facilities allow every student to receive the best learning and practical training in the Industry. This exciting organisation is filled with values-based individuals, emphasising teamwork, communication, empathy, integrity, and respect.

**The Role**
As the State General Manager, you are responsible for the growth of new products and new regions within Queensland. You will have a solid financial understanding and P&L management experience, be commercially minded and be focused on business growth. The role will be based in our client's Salisbury office.

**Key Responsibilities**
- P&L management
- Review your region and set up sub-branches
- Manage the equipment servicing to ensure it is compliant and reduce service costs, as well as manage the image of the facility and improve its utilisation
- Manage the schedule closely to increase the number of courses, increase the maximum students/course and improve course utilisation
- Organising the training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
- Engage with Industry and other key stakeholders
- Travel as required within the duties of this position
- Previous experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- Business Development/Sales background within the VET sector
- Strong financial acumen and sound judgement to make business decisions
- It is desirable to understand the plant and machinery in high-risk environments
- Essential technological skills - data entry, spreadsheets, word processing etc.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to professionally liaise with a range of stakeholders, and the ability to manage and direct other people
- Demonstrated excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Hold a current Drivers Licence
