The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors is a private RTO providing Higher Education specialising in the delivery of external education programs in counselling, community services, financial counselling, and various business courses. **About the role**:
This is a **full-time office-based**position with a 6-month probationary period. The work hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop and conduct lectures and tutorials.
- Encourage the engagement of students in their studies.
- Marking student assessments in accordance with assessment and moderation policies.
- Identifying and liaising with students at risk and establish individual learning plans as needed.
**About you**:
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- A Social Work (or related field) qualification at least at Master level.
- Demonstrated teaching ability in relevant fields at a tertiary level.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, negotiate and collaborate with both internal and external parties.
- Demonstrated continuing professional development in relevant field. ‘Professional Development’ includes further studies, membership of industry associations, attendance at industry workshops and functions and/or attending supervision.
- Applicants need to have or be eligible for AASW membership.
