**The role**:
We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager who can take charge to ensure that all technology solution plans are delivered with the right balance of risk, cost and performance.

This role will focus on giving our support partners and internal teams technical direction, providing assurance over technology standards and ensuring consistency of standards across the Medibank tech stack.

Another key element will be to ensure that Medibank projects, initiatives and BAU activities deliver to our Cloud First strategy.

**Where you can add value**
- Lead development of infrastructure strategies and projects.
- Research innovative, productivity-enabling technology solutions and develop relevant business cases
- Develop approach for enabling successful datacentre migrations.
- Design of all infrastructure components to meet defined architectural strategies and operational principles
- Act as the core SME in pre-PROD design conversations relating to DBA, Storage, Network and Compute changes or new platforms.
- Represent Medibank as an SME in technical discussions and negotiations for partner IT services.
- Ensure deliverables comply with Medibank audit and regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS / SOC2 / NIST)
- Managing SLAs, OLAs, KPIs and ITIL V3 based support processes

**What can you bring?**

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.. given that this is a super technical role, it’s no surprise that you will need to have significant experience in an all encompassing Infrastructure Support/ Solution Lead/ Manager role.

You will need to be confident in your technical communication skills and the ability to interact with Project teams, Partner/Vendor Support teams and formulate business friendly solutions.

Strong knowledge of infrastructure operations covering networks, data centres, servers, storage systems, databases, security and cloud technologies.

You will also be confident with Open systems and Microsoft technologies - including Windows, Active Directory, Identity.

A background in managing IT infrastructure teams would be ideal.
