**The role**:
Amazing opportunity for a **Preservation Supervisor **to join our Above Water Systems (AWS) team based in Garden Island. You will be responsible for the day to day management of multi-disciplined work group employed on a designed project, both in the workshop and aboard vessels, ensuring the project objectives in relation to cost, time, safety and quality and environment are achieved. You will also be providing support to the Senior Preservation Supervisor

Responsibilities will include:

- Provide leadership in implementing a new commercial & customer focused culture within THALES
- Ensure all paperwork and work-packs are completed in a timely manner
- Identify and implement continuous improvement activities.
- Identify changes that will impact the project or schedule and communicate these to the relevant stakeholders
- Assist in managing any local industrial relations issues that may arise during the course of the project.
- Carry out survey reports, estimates and work methodologies to assist project team.
- Communicate/Liaise between THALES and the customer or their representative.
- Assist with the preparation of correspondence and reports to the customer or THALES management.
- Attend meetings with senior supervisors, managers, client and ship staff. Present Tool box talks to production team.

**How about you?**
- NACE 2 Coating inspector certification
- Must have a good working knowledge of the policy, procedure, work instructions and systems used at THALES marine Ability to identify problems, examine alternative and provide innovative solution/recommendation
- Ability to use initiative and take independent action when appropriate
- Willingness to assist with change implementation in work practise and culture

**Good to know**:
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
