**We have an exciting opportunity for **an Indirect Procurement Specialist to join the Finance team at our Sydney office located at Blacktown for a 12 month Parental Leave contract.

With support and guidance from the Business Controller and management team, your key objective is to drive initiatives that will reduce the cost of doing business, and improve supplier performance across our Indirect categories for our Compressor Division.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Engaging with internal stakeholders to identify and develop procurement strategies and plans for our indirect categories
- Vendor management and evaluation (assessing pricing, product, and service criteria)
- Negotiation of contracts, bids and proposals
- Establishing and nurturing supplier relationships
- Fleet and Travel Supplier Relationship Management

You will need at least 2 years of purchasing related experience, enjoy interacting with peoples, embrace process improvement, experienced in vendor management and if require involve in purchase contract review and negotiation

We are also embarking on a SAP ERP journey during this time so experience in SAP will be well regarded.

A current valid driver’s license is required in this role.
