- Temporary full-time position (1 year contract), working 35 hours per week
- Salary from $118,657.56 to $128,439.14 per annum + 11.5 % superannuation

**About the role**:
The CBD Precinct Manager will work collaboratively across all Council divisions to lead the delivery of the Revitalise Queen Street implementation plan, including the coordination of planning, consultation and development of the CDB Precinct Place Plan. The role is responsible to drive engagement and enhance collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to achieve a CBD Precinct with high visitation rates as a true mixed use destination.

The role is accountable for the presentation, community engagement and ongoing vitality of the Queen street precinct. The Precinct Management function is focussed on coordinating activity, driving internal accountability and influencing the allocation of Council resources to produce the best customer services and experiences in the heart of our city. The CBD Precinct Manager will present information to executive decision makers and direct the activity of the Precinct Working Group.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in public relations, public policy, urban placemaking, social and/or behavioural sciences or similar area
- Experience working on similar-scale place based / public domain / venue management initiatives
- Commitment to contemporary community development in a place based context
- Experience introducing pilot programs and change innovation
- Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver initiatives and programs
- Experience in project management
